December 23 , 2008 - Many Hars gathered at HQ prior to the ice storm for more holiday fun. The homemade basil cello was a huge hit. Merry Christmas everyone!

December 18, 2008 - After we found the joint, the Hars gathered at Hideway Lounge for the annual Holiday Party and Awards Ceremony. Some Hars went to dinner before hand at Genarro's in Aston for a wonderful Itialian meal. Harry (Scott Graham) even treated! Below is a list of 2008 Harry award recipeints. Natty Ice Award: Award for the Harry most dedicated to imbibing Natty Ice at all Harry events and making sure the fellow Harry's Natty Ice is always half full and never half empty - will let Natty Ice know about this award - JACK BETZAL

December 4 , 2008 - The Hars are pleased to announce the birth of Paige Calkins Hollingsworth today. She was 7lbs 4oz. 20 3/4 inches long. Congratulations to T. Calkins, daddy Bill and big sister Ainsley.

November 29, 2008 - The Hars joined other longtime Aston residents at Barnaby’s tonight for a fun night with lots of new and old friends. Harriette Marybeth Sprows planned this event and she did not disappoint. Click above fore more pictures.

November 1, 2008 - A very Harry birthday wish goes out to arguably one of the finest assistant chiefs in Aston-Beechwood’s history. Today Harry (Kevin) was surprised by his girlfriend and 70 other family and friends at HQ. Happy birthday Harry!

October 29, 2008 - The 2008 Philadelphia Phillies are the WORLD CHAMPIONS of baseball. The Hars were there to help cheer and celebrate throughout. Congratulations to us, the championship starved Philly sports fans who are still celebrating the VICTORY.

October 25, 2008 - It was jam day at Harrys' One Spot today. Frank and Jeri Radio from Radio Entertainment were in town and set up karaoke shop where the action was. The Har crowd was able to sing all night while still paying close attention to the Phillies in Game 3 of the World Series. Great party at the One Spot AND a great win for the Fightens; thanks for hosting Adam and Tracy!

October 1, 2008 - A HUGE "Yo Har" congratulations goes out to the entire Hartley family on the birth of Connor Matthew Brown today. Little Conner came into the world at 1:02 PM already wearing Phillies attire, which confused the delivering doctor at first but he then realized that EVERYONE has Phillies Fever. Connor was 8lbs, 2 oz and 21 inches long. Meghan, make sure he signs up for the forums ASAP.

October 1, 2008 - Phillies fever has struck, and struck the Hars hard (Harry Mikell even has Phillies flip-flops). The Hars are rallying around the home team in hopes of a visit to the world series this year. Today, the Hars gathered at HQ for the 1st game of a 5 game series with the Brewers. The Phils picked up their first playoff win since 1993. LET'S GO PHILLIES!

September 6 , 2008 - This party didn't attract the large crowd as the Rock did last week but fun times were had by all. Thanks to Mr. Harry Kevin Carr for providing entertainment despite having to be at work on Sunday.

August 23, 2008 - Harry Tony celebrated the big 3-7 this weekend in style. A kick-ass Mexican Fiesta party was held at his home in Williamstown NJ and many Hars were there to celebrate. Good food, good people and GREAT FUN!!!

August 14 , 2008- Congratulations to Hars Beth and Scott Graham on the birth of their 1st baby boy today. Little Tyler Christopher finally squeezed his big head and broad shoulders out at 12:27AM today . He officially weighed in at 9lbs 15 oz (1 oz shy of 10 pounds but close enough for the headline) and 22 inches long. Mom, Dad and Tyler along with big sisters Riley and Brynn are doing wonderful.

July 25, 2008- Brynn and Riley gave their 1st ever haircut today. Their daddy, Harry Scotty G., was the victim. Nice job Riley and Brynn

July 28, 2008- Pictured to the right is our new friend and our favorite Herre sibling, Jackie along with Harry (Kevin). While patrolling the parking lot of the Wachovia Center before the Kenny Chesney concert looking for a fun tailgate party, Jackie came across our Yohar flag. At the same time she just happened to be talking to her big brother, Bob Herre, CEO of Flashovers Tavern. Bob advised to enter our tailgate because he knew without a doubt we were having fun and knew how to party. We did not disappoint either of them. Jackie had a great time in her short stay with the Hars and we were glad to have met her and we hope to see her again soon!

July 15, 2008- Mrs. Emily Strickler was back in town today for the 1st time since her wedding. The Hars celebrated wtih a wonderful dinner at Gennaro's in Aston. Afterwards, it was time to head back to the One Spot to hang out until 5am. Congrats Emily and Cake.

July 19, 2008- Kenny Chesney brought his Pirates and Poets tour to the Lincoln Financial Field today. LeAnn Rimes, Keith Urban and Sammy Hagar were also on the ticket. Approximately 25 Hars and many other FOH (friends of Hars) started the tailgate party by noon just as the temperature hit 98 degrees and the humidity 100% (or at least that what it seemed like). There was plenty of food, beverage and jello shots to help cool off our crowd.

July 12, 2008- Congratulations to Harriette MicheLe Cairy, she completed her very 1st triathlon today. WAY TO GO HAR!!!!!

July 12 2008- Harriette Amanda has been in her new home for a few months now, but we are just getting around to showing you the pictures. Congrats Har on your 1st home, we love it.

July, 2008- With Rocky's sudden passing away, it left a huge void at Aston-Beechwood. One of those willing to step up to the plate to help fill that void was our very own Harry (Mike K.). Harry was promoted to 2nd Assistant Chief this week. He is shown in the picture showing off his brand new white helmet. Well actually, Jack's white helmet, 1) because Jack never uses it and 2) Mike's new helmet is still on order.

June 28, 2008- The Graham's hosted a summer birthday bash at their home in Valley Township tonight. All Hars that have birthdays in June and July were honored. June 16, 2008- Litttle Timmy Iannucci, son of Hars Pickles and Sammy, is training to take over the family bussiness some day. Timmy's grandfather owns Ristorante Gennaro's in Aston.

June 14, 2008-Another day, another concert/tailgate for the Hars.... Today, the Parrot Head convened in the Philly sports complex parking lot around noon for the 8pm show. Some Hars didn't quite make it in to see the entire show, but let's forget about that. The tailgate and concert were AMAZING and of course fun times were had by all. June 1 , 2008- A boat load of Hars ventured to the Mann Music Center to listen to Jimmy T. play some tunes. The lawn was pretty crowded when we got there but by the end of the show, we had the entire section to ourselves. MORE PICS, CLICK HERE.

May 28 , 2008- Aston-Beechwood Fire Company Chief Rocky Eusden was laid to rest today and many Hars were there to pay their final respect. Rocky wore his "Yo Har" hoodie with pride and will be deeply missed by many Hars, especially those that volunteer at Aston-Beechwood Fire Company. RIP Rocky.

May 28 , 2008- It's official, Cake and Emily are engaged. Congrats HARS!

May 25 , 2008- The unofficial summer has begun and the Hars officially celebrated at Jack's annual Memorial Day Bash. Click on the bartender above for more pictures.

May 2 , 2008- 30 Hars arrived at Neumann College tonight to play in the 1st Harry softball game of the season. The Bob's were invited but since it wasn't a Wednesday night, none of them were allowed out, maybe next time. April 21 , 2008- Approximately 15 Hars began the first ever Yo Har Biggest Loser competition. This is a friendly 90 day competition to see who can lose the largest percentage of their body weight. The competition will conclude 21 July 2008 with the winner taking home a nice monetary prize as well as bragging rights of being the Yo Har Biggest Loser. Good luck to all the Hars participating and stick with it! We will have a follow up story at the conclusion of the competition.
